Zelensky 'ready to step down' … but only if Ukr joins NATO. Not going to happen and Zelensky knows it.
Trump team have the measure of Zelensky, the only terms acceptable to Zelensky is if the US come and force the Russians to surrender. Nothing else will do.
So it all boils down to this. Ukraine, Germany, France, UK and all the other NATO countries demand the US come and defeat Russia on the battlefield for them.
Fortunately Americans are not so stupid.
As a result we are now seeing the squabbling stages of a divorce between the US and Ukr and Trump is now concentrating on convincing the US public that to continue with project Ukraine is just a waste of time, money and lives.
And if the NATO countries don't wake up soon the US will walk away from them too.
The EU is still committed to Ukr though, and after watching from the sidelines for 3 years have decided just now to increase production of military equipment.
Ukr just have to hold on for another 5 to 7 years for EU to build factories and start production. Brilliant.
