I run on M1 zone 5pips and TP is 7.5pips. yes I had trades open upto 8 trades but did not reach 50% DD. I'm on 500$ account and 4 major pairs. no JPY pair. my lot starts from 0.02 and 2x everytime. give it a try. it works so far.

I have OGT zone recovery 1.5 EA but then it stops somewhere in the middle. wont close trades once reachs TP. no closing at all. that is why I was looking for something else.
what do you mean for a sureFire strategy you SHOULD absolutely trade JPY pairs, Why ? because they are known to trend, especially GBPJPY.
so if you're using a sure fire, it's a trend strategy, that's why I would use GBPJPY or USDJPY is another good one.
makes no sense at all to use mean reverting pairs !

and even with rules, like RSI, you WILL end up crashing account this is a matter of time

Hi

Are there any one-shot EAs that are profitable on 1-15 minute timeframes?

EAs that place a lot of counter-trend trades often fail unless the trader has a fairly large capital.
recently there have been a plethora of new robots on the MQL5 website. All the EAs are well made but my prognostic is that 90% are scams

BUT

maybe you can find one or two EAs with enough signal history. Because don't be fooled by overfitted robots that present well in backtest AND in forward test.

It can very well be a scam even if the "trades are the same as in BT"
yes of course they will be : the history, stored in the executable stops at one point and then the crappy averaging algo takes place.

also the fact that NOBODY would sell an amazing EA for even $500
or maybe they found something better that they trade on forex, and develop the EA on GOLD for example otherwise I don't know

Hi,
Ionone is right. I have tried almost all the free recovery bots on MQL. I have OGT as well but have not used it pass the tests. Options are very limited if you arent paying.
So to deal with losses, i use grid averaging. There is another called Daily Sacrifice Pro or lastly use a script. The script uses profits to offset the losses.
All other recovery just compound your losses . Load the script on the chart with the symbol, it will only run one cycle and unload itself.

I'v been using this Binary Options EA, over time with my limited basic copy & paste coding it does not work on normal brokers ie IC Markets for trading.

It's time for an overview with the order send logic. Can someone please just clean up the code. Leave all the input options and other logic to work on ECN brokers and take out the binary Options order send functions and replace them with standard ones please. Also maybe add magic number to allow multiple instances to work please.

Cheers

Thanks very much Jeff, really appreciate ur efforts. I'm testing the ea.

I have one request please to ask u. there is zone recovery ea on the net and it's free from the author but it has some issues in it. everything is managable except one thing. the ea is from OGT and it is called OGT Zone Recovery 1.5. they share mql file too. is there any possibility whenever u have a time to fix that issue please? the issue is it has dynamic/floating TP. in the settings of the ea u have an option to adjust as per ur desire but does not have any effects on TP at all. I just need it to be fixed as per the setting I set. only this please...
