Re: This is the thread for becoming an Inner Circle Trader (ICT)
361Hi, I'm new to ICT stuff. What's the name of the indicator that shows your recommended Stop Loss and Take Profit levels? Can you post to link to where I can find it? Thanks.
No indicators are needed, you just need to set a stop loss at the old highs and lows where the manipulation occurredglobal wrote: Fri Jul 05, 2024 11:49 pm Hi, I'm new to ICT stuff. Thanks for your response. I know that no indicator is needed but I vaguely remember seeing a TradingView one that had an MT4 equivalent but I couldn't find it. Anyway, although it's not that important, it would have been convenient to have it.Jedidiah wrote: Sun Jul 07, 2024 6:44 pm No indicators are needed, you just need to set a stop loss at the old highs and lows where the manipulation occurred
My suggestion is to just give up using MetaTrader to analyze charts and switch to TradingView to analyze trades.global wrote: Mon Jul 08, 2024 2:45 am Thanks for your response. I just did some more searching and I found what I was looking for. It doesn't have the feature of setting the risk based on a percentage of equity but nevertheless it's ok.
Here are the links:
Risk Reward Ratio TradingView: app.php/attach/file/3371579
Risk Reward Ratio TradingView with Button : attach/file/3397133

Thats not good advice Jedidiah ... sorry ... but Tradingview shows very different results for indicators due to their data providers and historical bar count. Quite a big difference actually as seen here Why are EMA indicators in MT4 different in Tradingview?Jedidiah wrote: Sat Jul 13, 2024 10:05 am My suggestion is to just give up using MetaTrader to analyze charts and switch to TradingView to analyze trades.
