Europe energy prices set to rise again. Ukraine has cut the LNG gas pipeline running through Ukr to the EU.

The Zelensky plan was to cut the supply and blame Rus for breach of contract to the EU, to prevent court action Zelensky says Rus must supply the gas but with payments to Rus being diverted to Ukr instead (see A. Mercouris latest vid for detailed explanation).

Rus has said f*** off. The EU still gets over 5% of it's gas from Rus, it could open the Nordstream 1 or Polish pipelines but Von Der Leyen seems determined to go all in US gas. Ukr meanwhile has been forced to start importing gas from the US via Greece for it's own needs.

The hole in Zelensky's cunning plan is that now Rus is free to destroy the Ukraine's gas pipeline infrastructure just as it has already done to the electric supply infrastructure. Things are about to get a whole lot worse for Ukrainians.

But now Ukr's cut the supply they've had to start importing expensive US LNG, who's paying for that? And for how long?

Banking on the EU to keep paying or Rus to not bomb the infrastructure is not a very smart move really.

Zelensky at this stage is really just a willing hostage to the west.
