Lebanon Ceasefire Terms: Hezbollah Retreats, Syria Under Pressure

Under the new ceasefire agreement, Hezbollah will withdraw its forces beyond the Litani River and pledge not to restore its arsenal near the border with Israel, while the IDF will return to the international border.

The Lebanese army will destroy the remaining Hezbollah infrastructure in the border area within the first 60 days, and international guarantees from the US and Russia promise to prevent the group from rearming.

Syria has been charged with blocking arms supplies to Lebanon, otherwise Israel has threatened Bashar al-Assad with a similar fate with Hezbollah leader Nasrallah.

Reports that Trump has called Putin but no real details given.

Also more reports that Ukr are about to retreat from Kursk, Ukr commanders say as a 'goodwill gesture' for possible upcoming peace talks.

Reminder that Ukr has been continuously reinforcing Kursk with their best troops and western tanks. Rus say they have inflicted over 20,000 casualties on Ukr in Kursk already. Rus would certainly prefer to battle Ukr there than behind Ukr defences in Ukr.

There is absolutely no way Europe can keep Ukraine propped up financially or equipment wise without the US and there is absolutely no appetite for NATO troops being sent to Ukraine either.
