This will always happens not every trade its perfect trading its about probabilities and just like mark Douglas said you need to take every entry your system shows it doesn't matter if its a win or a lose you cant be picky with the setups its because you don't know the outcome of the trade no one knows and this is the reality you just need to take it if it goes with your strat period. what i can change in this situation exactly not entering in 1 minute trades without confirmation of higher time frames but this can happen in every time frame or just exit at that point i said way early price moved with profit i was saying i should get out there because i know how it reacts and the owner of the indicator said the same thing in one comment that price tends to retrace or start correcting when it touches that line... all we just have an visual indication of whats going with these indicators on but price can do whatever it wants we don't have the power to move it where we want. So what im trying to tell you here stop looking for the perfect system you won't find it. i spent years tho looking for it and there's none. It just can be perfect for you because you understand it and because it works for you only you. What works for others might not work for you and what works for you might not work for others.. stick to one you feel comfortable and just stick to it. right know i cant leave the semafors and the legacy of gann because its been working for me i have found myself with it. i have noticed that i cant see a lot of colors because it plays with my emotions all im trying to say here its just find yourself in this world of trading its you vs you.

GerhardMTB wrote: Thu Oct 31, 2024 2:25 am I'm completely new to the XARD chart and unfortunately my screen time is limited, so I only saw a lot of trades that I had previously written down to monitor as they went in the right direction without me.
Nevertheless, I was able to start 10 trades and close 10 of them positively (not all where I would have liked), but no loss is the first profit.

So I can't thank XARD enough for a system with such clear structures and signals.

In addition to the clarity of the system, working through Curioso's daily challenges gave me the feeling from the start that my trades had the right basis and a positive expected value.

Therefore, special thanks again to XARD for the clear design of the charts and Curioso with his contributions, who showed me the necessary understanding.
There's definitely still a long way to go, but I feel like I've found the right direction.

I forgot to post it yesterday.
Trade is showing on the chart (Entry and exit) 1:1 Risk Reward
Any comments on my entry, how to make it better?

Few queries ( hopefully will help in better in better grasping the concepts)
I took the SELL trade when the price moved down and closed below the MA,
I have disregarded the GREEN UPSQUARE, UP ARROW bias on the bottom left of the screen. Is it OK?
Will try to look for the setup as per Curioso 3rd day challenge on US30
Thanks once again for all this wonderful community and to the seniors/ experienced traders who spend valuable time to share their experiences with us.
Hats off to you all especially xard777 for his wonderful system and Curioso for putting all this effort in.
Hello GerhardMTB & mazibee,

I've been following your posts, and I'm real enjoying watching you gain confidence.

Just a suggestion, for now and as you are learning how to deal with the alerts, and with this version, learn as much as you can on M15, own and gain confidence as much as you can on this timeframe, and train your mind and take notes on everything as much as you can, only after you own the knowledge think about changing timeframes, until then be the master of XU-v18m-Setup.

So far I have worked without alerts, which probably explains why I couldn't implement trades that I expected.
I tried the MTF approach for the time frames. In the morning I check on D1 and H1 which pairs I want to trade in which direction and then I only follow these pairs throughout the day. However, here too M5 and M15. If I missed M5, I looked for an entry with M15.
I will follow the advice and deal with the alerts for the next few days.
At the same time, I will continue to pursue the daily challenge. It is very helpful for me to be able to see through someone else's eyes. The arrows and short explanations opened my eyes and mind to this beautifull system.

mazibee wrote: Wed Oct 30, 2024 8:59 pm Hopefully someone will guide me in the right direction:

I there a way to automatically take a screenshot when placing the trade, same for the exit.
Normally I do market execution, after that modify the the order, add SL/TP levels in the MT4, then just see the trade once in a while, when I get a chance, whether a TP or SL is hit, Any suggestions.

I have made a sheet in excel, it takes a lot of time to calulate the lot size , by taking the entry level and SL in to account.

Any easier way to perform the above tasks will be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
I have developed an expert advisor for myself, which places two lines on the screen.
an order line and an SL line.
The order line only secures the direction of the trade, which means that for buy it must be above SL and for sell it must be below.
As an Order size you can choose a fixed lot size, a percentage or a fixed amount.
The lot size is then calculated with this amount based on the distance from the current price to the SL.

However, I have problems with the buttons when I use them on the template.
and with the EA then wanting to change time frame or symbol I have a hanging system for several seconds. That's why I always only put this EA on the chart directly before a trade. After opening an order, the EA closes itself. As long as the symbol and timeframe are not changed, the EA does what is expected.

If it helps you, you are welcome to test the EA for yourself, I didn't want to post it directly because it is probably still far from perfect.

Try removing the Dash indicator and go to options and reduce bars on chart to 5000 or even 1000.
nil desperandum
