Did you write the code for Black Level? I found that the indicator deletes every object (trendline, fibo, etc) whenever I switch TF. Is there anyway to make the indicator doesn't do that? If not, I can always use it on different chart because I like drawing trendline manually.

Cheers
Hi Guntur - no it does not do it. The code takes care of the levels, i use them in several systems and never faced such an issue.

1. No, it doesn't repaint
2. No, it is not 100% accurate

Since it doesn't repaint, you can backtest it to check its winrate.Screenshot 2024-10-25 072629.png
Sorry, but triangles can and do RECALCULATE, in the first example, you show if price went slightly higher to be higher than the previous pink Semaphor the triangle will disappear. The Triangle indicator uses the ZZ indicator to calculate the formation of dots which is then used to detect the Triangle formations. I have been Xard's systems for nearly 5 years now and also have worked with the source code. I am 100% certain that a Triangle can appear on your chart and disappear, but most times the will remain in place once they appear.

However this is not a problem, just wait for price to move away from the last dot on the triangle and cross the moving averages before you enter.

Yes, it does recalculate but not repaint. As far as I concern, repainting indicator ALWAYS show perfect signal in history, recalculate indicator on the other hand, its signal eventually stays although it has given a bad signal.
I hope my sentences make sense, my English is below average 😅🙏

Yes, you are correct, unfortunately, too many people do not know the difference between repainting and recalculating. Although if you just scroll back through a chart the triangles will always look perfect, but in reality as the market trades triangles can form and disappear. If you bought or sold every time a triangle appears there are going to be losses. Newbies seeing the ZZ indicator or triangle for the first time may think it is the holy grail which is not the case. Or a newbie reading your post may think they can open a huge position when they see a triangle and be guaranteed to make a fortune every time.
