So Zelensky's victory plan is really a plan for NATO not Ukraine which is why all he can do is keep begging, and why not, it's always worked so far.

Gimme Javelins, tanks, artillery, rockets, attack missiles, F-16s ... Keep pestering and the west always ends up giving.

But this time there's a problem, this time the demand is running up against an actual Putin red line, not a fake western one and the Pentagon, not a politician, is saying no and they mean it.

The signals are all lining up, the US is finally walking away from this shitshow and the Europeans are going to have to clean up, which they can't, while Zelensky won't. And so the result will be the death of a nation and it really did not have to be like this, if only common sense had prevailed from the beginning.

Zelensky finally going right off the rails. Turns out one of the 'secret' parts of the victory plan Zelensky was toting around the western leaders for the last month was that if Ukraine was not immediately allowed into NATO Ukraine would look to acquire a nuclear weapon - seriously. Not to be detoured Zelensky, 2 days ago, made this part of the plan public. The way ahead is clear now, the 4 principles have all made their plans.

Biden went to Germany to tell the Europeans the US was pivoting toward the middle east. They have no money or weapons or equipment stocks left and the dribble coming off the production line will go to Israel. And nothing will change no matter who wins the election.

The EU are in the same position but can't walk away as this big pile of crap is sitting on their doorstep. But they can't think of anything to be done so they will sit there staring at it and do nothing.

The US or the EU dare not go in deeper and send troops, that way only leads to disaster and expose the narrative that Russia want to invade NATO as complete BS.

Ukraine is locked into a position of non-action, they have run out of support and men. Zelensky will not negotiate and so can only dream of a miracle, say someone gives him a nuclear bomb or a new army for Christmas. Which isn't going to happen, so a slow death it is then.

Russia is content to simply soldier on destroying the opposing army and taking more and more land as it becomes available. At some point the Ukraine army will collapse and retreat to behind the Dnipro river but that might not be the end of it. Russia may well decide to take the city of Kharkov then march down the west side of the Dnipro and on to Odessa, there won't be anything to stop them after all.
