In this situation with "Up Square", above the daily opening, clear bullish trend, would this entry be correct?
Or with a downward arrow and a bearish triangle, should I not enter in long and should I have waited?
I look forward to your answers. Thank you very much!!

A blue ArrowSema is what you're looking for at this point, followed by a classic 2nd dot (pink sema>>>blue sema), MA's/candle color.

16863For some, perhaps a set-up similar to this will help . Experiment with using the same time frames on both charts, 1 and 2 higher time frames on the clean "bias chart".

16864So this entry would be more correct, right?DaveTrader wrote: Fri Aug 23, 2024 5:50 pm Should have waited for the pullback to finish.

Re: XARD - Simple Trend Following Trading System
16865Yes, "more correct".
Still would be better to wit for an up ArrowSema to begin the set-up.
The entry you marked here will work out sometimes. But it still shows the pullback is most likely not finished and will fail many times. Turning out to be just another entry that was too early. It is the type of entry that works out just enough to give you confidence, only to let you down as time goes on.

Re: XARD - Simple Trend Following Trading System
16866In the end it did work out, a x2, not so bad. Thank you very much for your words and I am still in learning mode. My old self, seeing that downward arrow and that bearish triangle, would have gone short. Bad done. I have to learn to be more patient.DaveTrader wrote: Fri Aug 23, 2024 6:12 pm Yes, "more correct".

16869Here is another example of the use of XARD-XU's KISS.
Follow the numbers on the chart.
A small note: I usually take my position with an ADR of 61.8%.
Good luck to all and have a nice weekend.

PS: Don't forget the motto:
We create order out of chaos - we trade that order, but sometimes that chaos is out of order, so we WAIT!!! for the order to return - and we trade again. XARD777
