An update on the conflict's 3 main legal proceedings.

Probably not been mentioned in western media but a while back the UN threw out all of the Ukrainian charges against Russia of human rights abuses. Turns out they were all complete fabrications that were just reported verbatim in the western media.

Second is that Russia has readied court applications if the west steal Russian assets or the interest on assets held in the SWIFT money clearing system. Russia can take SWIFT to court in the 150 countries that don't support the west over Ukraine or don't care. The result will be an obvious win for Russia and the seizing of US and EU assets held by SWIFT in each country. The whole system will collapse.

Third are the recent Russian charges to the international courts of terrorism by Ukraine committed on Russian soil. Helpfully these were admitted last week by the head of the largest Ukraine intel agency in a media interview. Of course Russia are not expecting any actual extradition of the culprits but what a ruling in their favour will do is give them legal right to send their army into any part of Ukraine with the excuse to apprehend them.

The heads of the US and EU do not think through any of their actions, they can't do diplomacy and they have no reverse gear. They are, in short, all absolute morons.

Correct, this is because the US has told Ukraine to stop attacks on oil refineries as it may cause an increase to the price of oil.

The problem is though that Russia has completed the new railway across the land bridge Oblasts so the Kerch bridge is not really a strategic target anymore anyway. Mind you the Kerch bridge was only completed in 2018 so for 4 years before that the Russians used the ferry ports without problems.

The German generals admitted as much in their leaked phone call a few weeks back, they also admitted that bridges were very difficult targets to hit and would need dozens of missiles to make the attempt, missiles that Ukraine are crying to the Americans are in such short supply and so probably not best used for just another publicity stunt (German generals again).
