I've always liked the USDMXN cross but the USDZAR is a bit more volatile

I'm doing this way - looking at H4 trend, going into M30 analysis and value analysis. If ZEE will show up WITH align with other indicators I enter trade 1:1.5 RR. Then if ZEE disappear I just trigger other trade. It's part of the game, it will repaint.
