Be patient therefore, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth: patiently bearing till he receive the early and latter rain.
Behold, we account them blessed who have endured. You have heard of the patience of Job, and you have seen the end of the Lord, that the Lord is merciful and compassionate.

Unfortunately for the Ukrainians this new big push after weeks of lull ended the same as before, nil ground gained, dozens of vehicles destroyed, and many hundreds of troops killed.

Frontline Update

Meanwhile the Telegraph admits that currently the Patriot Air Defence systems (and others) can't really stop Russian missiles after all.

“Putin’s ‘invincible’ hypersonic missiles could soon be intercepted” — The Telegraph

-> To sell new defense systems, they need to admit that Patriot is not the solution … else why develop the new expensive stuff?

Ukraine has launched a new push against Russian lines, achieving some gains in the south, Kyiv said. A U.S. official said it was unclear “what the purpose” of these moves may be.

Boris Johnson was sent to Ukraine by Joe Biden to stop any negotiations with Russia.

The price of peace for Ukraine will keep getting higher the longer they vote for war.

Armchair Warlord @ArmchairW
Ukraine could end the war tomorrow ("stop fighting") by agreeing to Russia's four demands, which have been constant since the start of the "Special Military Operation." They are:
1. Demilitarization
2. Denazification
3. Neutralization
4. Recognition of Russian annexations

Start of a renewed counteroffensive by Ukraine yesterday, chucking in the last of their reserves, and ... more of the same. Destroyed armoured vehicles strewn across the battle field.

Entirely predictable, as this war was from the start, never going to win without a near-pair air force.

Still not much confirmed from the fighting yesterday but possible Ukraine has managed to gain another small village (Staromayorsky) across the 3 main points of contact.

Vigorous Falcon
@VigorousFalcon
So some 50-60 equipment (visually confirmed in just 2 days) were sacrificed (destroyed/damaged/abandoned) just to make way for one BMP reach the main defenses?

Also strange vid of what looks like one lone Ukraine tank breaking through several km to reach the first real line of Russian defences where it fell straight into a tank trap never to emerge again.

Still waiting for a new frontline update to post.

Frontline Update (17 min)

Meanwhile US stupidity knows no bounds, Russia will absolutely, definitely sink any US navy vessels entering the conflict zone.

Retired US Navy Admiral James Stavridis, former Supreme Commander of NATO Allied Forces Europe, said the Alliance should escort grain ships in the Black Sea and return fire on Russian Navy ships in the event of an attack on grain-carrying ships.

According to Stavridis, NATO should issue a direct and unambiguous warning to the Russian Black Sea Fleet.

US prepared politically but didn't count on preparing militarily and have now run out of ammo and equipment to send to the fight and are years away from increasing production to continue to do so. The rest of Europe will be the ones paying for the miscalculation.

Frontline Update (10 min)

7 min clip on Ritter's ''Agent Zelensky'' documentary (2 parts posted here earlier)

Retired US Navy Admiral James Stavridis, former Supreme Commander of NATO Allied Forces Europe, said the Alliance should escort grain ships in the Black Sea and return fire on Russian Navy ships in the event of an attack on grain-carrying ships.

This is discussed in video below. 1 hour interview with Russian military analysist on just what are Russia's capabilities and how the US and NATO managed to so completely underestimate them.

In this week’s episode of the New Rules podcast, host Dimitri Simes Jr. speaks with military analyst Andrei Martyanov ( / @smoothiex12 ) about the Ukrainian counteroffensive’s new strategy, the prospect of a NATO-Russia naval showdown, and the Russian military’s improved “network-centric warfare” capabilities.

“Today with the modern technology, a Russian defense national command and control center in Moscow can actually get a video feed from some private on the ground in the Donbass,” Martyanov said. “And then they also receive these immense datasets, immense stream of information that can be used for reconnaissance and targeting.”

And, related to the video above, Poland belatedly realises that perhaps just 170,000 troops might not actually be enough to defeat Russia if they do decide join the conflict. 🤔
Take note the rest of 'run down' NATO, Russia knows you're all talk and no trousers.

The World Doesn’t Buy The West's Stupid Narrative. Ukraine Will Be Neutral | Chas Freeman

29 Jul 2023
In the third part of the interview, former US Ambassador Chas Freeman is talking about why Ukraine will end up being neutralized as a buffer state between NATO and Russia. We also discuss the horrible mistakes the West made when dealing with Russia over the past 35 years, lying to Moscow at every single turn. The Russians have very little incentive to ever believe the Europeans again when they promise anything. Hard power is the only way for Moscow to be sure that the West will not renege on its promises. Oh and by the way, the rest of the world doesn't really care about Europe's infantile wars about who gets to control what territory in a far-away place, because the West is definitely losing the info war in the nonaligned world! Sit down and talk it out, Europe!

In-depth analysis with Alexander Mercouris; (1 hr 20 min) The first 45 min is update on Ukraine conflict positions, tactics, losses. After that is political situation and the last 20 min is on a possible peace meeting currently taking place in Moscow between US and Russia that's been unreported.
