I frankly don't know the answer to this. I just know that when candle closes at the upper band, it signals buy and reverse for sellfunchi wrote: Tue Jun 20, 2023 9:03 pm "FNC_dashboard_Ind_ms_g channel.ex4"
What are the set values of the parameters?

The following indicators work fine
2.
FNC_dashboard_Ind_ms_macd-osma.ex4
3.
FNC_dashboard_Ind_ms_Ichimoku Slow Kumo.ex4
4.
FNC_dashboard_Ind_ms_Ichimoku.ex4
5.
FNC_dashboard_Ind_ms_g channel.ex4 This one does not show any signals for any instrument, just empty column as shown in the attached image...
1.
FNC_dashboard_Ind_ms_Volatility_quality2.ex4 This one freezes up the MT4 so I had to remove it.
I think the 3 that work are more than enough to filter the trades if there is nothing you can do about the 2 that don't work.
Thank you for being so gracious. I will go ahead to create templates to see if I can get better entries for the X-Gen strategy. I'll let you know what I come up with. Thanks again for your efforts

I will like to test this strategy for X-Gen EA.
Buy entries in 15M tf when price crosses 1hr 50 MA
I changed the 3x ma to 10 10 20
Entry is when 3x ma signals buy and TDI green line has crossed the green and yellow line
The reverse for sells
Because it is EA, I want to keep it simple and see if it will be profitable.
The question though is how does this TDI give signal? Is it when the green line crosses the red and yellow line?
Also can the FNC EA be backtested?
Thanks for all your help
I know how you feel and will consider it.Woodyz wrote: Tue Jun 20, 2023 9:17 pm Hi Funchi
One thing I have noticed is that if EA opens a trade & you close it manually it will keep opening up a new trade.
Is it possible to have it so that if a trade is closed manually the pair concerned will not open new trades until a fresh signal comes up.
I hope this is what you mean?funchi wrote: Tue Jun 20, 2023 10:01 pm > 5.

We are investigating the cause.
Please post a screenshot of the parameters.
Thanks a lot Funchi. I downloaded the videos and installed the software but still couldn't play it. I'll go to youtube and watch some videos on it.funchi wrote: Tue Jun 20, 2023 10:11 pm > The question though is how does this TDI give signal?
