I wouldn't use RSI for MTF or longer periods...RSI tends to flatten...

There's so many good indicators between MrTools and Mladen but the rainbow I would say is up there with the best - however it needs a bit upgrading

A couple of years ago Fx surf shared his nice system...Maybe someone can find it useful

Instructions

You can use it on a shorter timeframe, I use it as an additional filter in conjunction with MTF Wavetrend or Chaos VA.

I don't trade straight off the LMA.

On a 1M candle LMA's set on 1m and 5m, 5m candle set at 5m and 15m.

Again im looking for a particular pattern in conjunction with MTF oscillators like Wavetrend or Chaos VA. Typically after HOD (highest of the day) or LOD (lowest of the day) have been reached and or daily ATR range has been rejected.

When either of those have been reached and the MTF oscillators are all in harmony at the top or bottom, then i'll look for a possible entry.

On the 5M chart I'll use the 5m and 15m LMA, Wavetrends at 15M, 30m and 1H.

Note: Wavetrends set at .8 Gamma and Typical Price
