Hi guys I'm looking for a regulated broker offering high leverage (1:500) and low spreads (like IC Markets) to trade with a scalper EA. Unfortunately I live in Italy, where IC Markets offers max 1:30 leverage. Can you recommend a good alternative ? Thanks.

Any broker regulated in Italy will be subject to ESMA's overall EU regulation regarding leverage caps, which was instituted quite a while ago.

Plenty of good unregulated brokers that'll give you 1:500, you just have to do your homework....

Is it wise to deal with unregulated brokers though?

I don't know of any regulated brokers with leverage that high...have you considered an offshore broker? I have a CedarFX account with 1:500 leverage, been trading with them for quite a while and never had a problem with withdrawals or anything. There are also a lot of others that offer this.

Can checkout Fxview - CySEC regulated and offer leverage upto 500x. Worth trying!

How is a CySEC broker allowing that kind of leverage when it's an EU regulator and ESMA capped leverage at 1:30 quite a while ago?
