I am running two identical mt4 platforms with an EA and identical Forex pairs. Why is it that one platform will enter 1-2 trades and the second platform will enter 7-8 trades? The platforms are running on the same computer with the same broker. Is this a MT4 issue and or server issue. Anyone have this experience?

Server can definitely make a difference, I have experienced this before.

2 trades verses 7 or 8 is a lot though. Hard to say without knowing the mechanics of the EA.

Have you double checked that all of the settings are the same on both of them? Checked they are running on the same time frame?
