Shooting star and hammer are my favourite, but i will use what I see on the charts.
The key for me is where they happen, I will only trade the reversal candlestick if it is within my S&R areas, not in the middles, but that's personal preference and my trading strategy, not to say they are less valid.

Hammer for me. I usually use that pattern.
