I'm trying to get trailing stops to work on MT4. Unfortunately these stops are client based, and wont move with price when the terminal is offline. This sucks because i cannot have my computer on to keep the terminal online, day and night.

So I was wondering, since there is an MT4 mobile app, does keeping this app open in the background keep the terminal online, so that the trailing stop updates as long as the phone is turned on?

Facebook for example does this appearently, even when the app isnt opened on the front screen, it shows the person as online cause its running in the background.
Does this also work with the mt4 terminal?
