it is better idea to wait for moving averages to converge on multiple time frames and then initiate trade, as again it will lead to divergence of moving averages and fast price action takes place from this points of convergence of moving averages, and you can avoid trading ranging markets most of the times.

Evaluate the movement of the bands, by adjusting "BarBollinger", it can be useful to develop the bases for your filter.

here are some adaptive ones fitting to atr ranges nicely, that you can try, coded by all time great coders mladen and mrtools

if you want to set jma adaptive indicator on fast settings then you really have to set jurik atr adaptation period to use on steroids settings !!!! of= 2147483647 with jurik and filter period to use =20
