New here first post was hoping to get pointed in the right direction wanted to ask a few questions???

hello, i am new here and wanted to say hello.

this is probably, redundant but i wanted to say what an incredible resource this is and thankyou for providing it. im on here every day and barely scratched the surface. i am a novice working on my first legitimate project. so thank you glad to be here. i am anxious to participate.

i was wondering how i could participate and wanted to ask ?? not sure this is the right place but after looking it seemed as good a place as any
i have been coming across some older files with array out of range errors and want to check them out so i have been adding dynamic resizing to the arrays and out of bounds checks and that has fixed most of them where i can view them.( mostly older mt4 indicators ) would it be worthwhile for me to repost them after i do this?

thought that might be a way for me to make a positive contribution and get my posts up? would this be ok and where should i do this if it is.
i am a novice and probably would not make any meaningful alterations to these files but i was thinking id post the file that has the error with the updated file that works, and sometimes i rename and add labels, if i did this i could post that file to all together in one post. wanted to ask if this would be ok? i figured mostly that at one time these files functioned adequately but after several mt4 updates need some maintaining.

i did have some other questions that are more on the side of brain picking and wanted to ask where and how i could go about this? would it be ok to participate some first then where and how to direct my questions? most of a simple nature. like " i have been wondering about coding indicators for renko charts and find some of the candlestick chart processes inadequate i was looking at simple calculations for a moving averages is it best to modify the equation to focus on the price data and calculate everything manually in the code? does anyone have suggestions from there experience with this?" prob a novice question to anyone with any experience and i think i suspect i may know the answer though confirmation of my suspicions and additional info would be most beneficial and appreciated . or another off the top off my head is i have been coding with some of the internal functions with my coding projects such as ima - irsi -iatr etc and see that they have limitations. i can across a post that suggested the best route was to find high quality indicators and factor things out side out the these functions. i was wondering ?? would these work for my uses and if there is a better way could i develop my code using these then go back and replace them with manual calculation in the code or what would be an ideal approach. again prod a novice question maybe even redundant to someone with exp i just dont know. i was planing on getting my project working on mt4 then converting to run on mt5 i have not done much of the mt5 programing yet did not know if the terminal internal functions run better on mt5 or not? a couple simple things like this.

thanks for taking the time to read this if you did and any responses are helpful
