Xard Universe v015 Trading Setup: A Comprehensive Guide with this indicator
Hello fellow traders! I'm sharing this full analysis of my custom trading setup, built around the Xard Universe v015 system in MetaTrader 5 (MT5), as a way to pay it forward. The idea is simple: give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day; teach him how to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime. This setup has evolved from years of trading, focusing on bringing order to market chaos with clean, visual tools that work across any timeframe (TF) or symbol (Forex, Crypto like BTCUSD, Commodities like XAUUSD, Indices like WS30). It's not about fancy algorithms or overcomplicated indicators—it's about simplicity, real-time responsiveness, and consistent execution.

I'll break it down step by step: the technical foundation, key indicators, the core strategy, and tips for success. Feel free to adapt it to your needs, and remember: trading involves risk—always use proper risk management and test in a demo account first.

Technical Foundation: Dual MT5 Instances for Efficiency
To handle both short-term triggers and long-term analysis without cluttering a single platform, I run two separate MT5 instances on Windows 11 Pro. This allows side-by-side monitoring: one for intra-day entries/exits (e.g., 6-minute/M6 charts) and one for roadmap overview (e.g., 1-hour/H1 or 6-hour/H6 charts).

- **Why Dual Instances?** MT5 doesn't natively support multiple windows from one install, so separate instances prevent conflicts and keep data isolated (e.g., different MQL5 folders for indicators and EAs).

- **Installation Steps:**
1. Download the MT5 installer from your broker's website (or metatrader5.com for a generic version—ensure broker compatibility).
2. Install the first instance in the default directory (e.g., `C:\Program Files\BrokerName - MetaTrader 5`).
3. For the second instance: Run the installer again as administrator, but select setting and change the directory to something unique (e.g., `C:\Program Files\BrokerName - MetaTrader 5 - Instance 2`).
4. Launch each via their shortcuts (pinned to taskbar). Log in with your trading account(s)—you can use the same account if your broker allows, or separate ones.

- **Quick Access Shortcuts for Workflow:**
- In each instance, go to **File > Open Data Folder** to access the UniqueID folder (e.g., `C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Roaming\MetaQuotes\Terminal\[UniqueID]`—the MQL5 folder is inside).
- Pin this UniqueID folder to File Explorer's Quick Access (drag it to the left sidebar). Rename them (e.g., "MT5 Instance 1" for M6, "MT5 Instance 2" for H1/H6) for easy navigation to tweak indicators or clear files.

- **Backup Routine:**
- Before changes, delete temporary files in `MQL5\Logs` and `MQL5\Files` (e.g., old screenshots) to keep backups lean (~15MB zipped).
- Copy the MQL5 folder to a local backup (e.g., `C:\Backups\MT5_MQL5_Backup_[Date]`), zip it, and upload to Mega.nz (I use an "MT5 Vault" folder for versions).
- Restore to the other instance by copying the MQL5 folder via Quick Access.

- **Expert Advisor (EA) Setup:**
- My custom Trading EA includes buttons: BUY (open long on current chart), SELL (open short), CLOSE (close trades on current chart), PANIC (close all trades across all charts).
- It takes a screenshot on every button press, saving to `MQL5\Files` for review—great for journaling, but clear periodically to avoid bloat.
- I also have a "clean screen" script with a hotkey to remove clutter, focusing on core visuals.

This dual setup runs smoothly on modern hardware (e.g., 8GB+ RAM), with Instance 1 handling fast M6 triggers and Instance 2 providing H1/H6 context.

Key Indicators: Bringing Order to Chaos
The heart of the setup is a eureka moment: Instead of relying on a lagging ZigZag (ZZ) line, I pivot VWAP (Volume Weighted Average Price) lines directly off ZZ-calculated turning points. VWAP updates in real-time with each new bar, making it "early to the party" while ZZ (depth 275) handles the backend pivot math. This creates dynamic support/resistance that's proactive, not reactive—perfect since many retail and institutional traders anchor to daily VWAP.

- **Turning Points (Arrows):**
- Red/blue dots with white arrows inside mark reversals based on ZZ extremes.
- Blue dot + up arrow: Bullish turning point (potential bottom).
- Red dot + down arrow: Bearish turning point (potential top).
- Strategy foundation: Trade "arrow to arrow" segments.

- **VWAP Lines (Green/Yellow):**
- Green VWAP: Drawn from a blue up arrow, acts as rising support in uptrends.
- Yellow VWAP: Drawn from a red down arrow, acts as falling resistance in downtrends.
- Updates live with each candle, providing volume-weighted pivots without ZZ lag.

- **Custom Heikin Ashi (HA) Candles:**
- Blue HA: Bullish (smooth upward momentum).
- Pink HA: Bearish (smooth downward momentum).
- Colors dynamically shift based on the white EMA line's flow—simple visual for trend direction.

- **White EMA Line:**
- A simple Exponential Moving Average (EMA) that crosses the HA candles.
- Above HA candles: Bullish trend (stay long or hold).
- Below HA candles: Bearish trend (stay short or hold).
- This extends trade duration, letting you ride trends longer (e.g., until your daily target is hit) without sub-window clutter no need for the likes of RSI, Stoch, or MACD—keeping charts clean and focused on price action.

No sub-indicators means maximum chart real estate for multi-symbol views (e.g., BTCUSD, WS30, XAUUSD & XRPUSD).

The Core Trading Strategy: Simple and Universal
The strategy is straightforward: Trade arrow to arrow using VWAP as pivots, HA colors for direction, and EMA crosses for confirmation. It works on any TF (M6 for entries, H6 for roadmap) and symbol, emphasizing consistency over complexity.

- **Bullish Setup (Green VWAP off White Up Arrow):**
1. Identify a blue dot with white up arrow (bullish turning point).
2. Wait for the green VWAP line to form as support from that arrow.
3. Enter BUY on a blue HA candle (bullish momentum), especially if the white EMA crosses above the HA.
4. Hold as long as EMA stays above HA and price respects green VWAP support.
5. Exit at the next red down arrow, when HA turns pink, or EMA crosses below—use CLOSE button for this chart or PANIC for all.

- **Bearish Setup (Yellow VWAP off White Down Arrow):**
1. Spot a red dot with white down arrow (bearish turning point).
2. Wait for the yellow VWAP line to form as resistance from that arrow.
3. Enter SELL on a pink HA candle (bearish momentum), especially if the white EMA crosses below the HA.
4. Hold as long as EMA stays below HA and price respects yellow VWAP resistance.
5. Exit at the next blue up arrow, when HA turns blue, or EMA crosses above—use CLOSE or PANIC.

- **Risk Management and Filters:**
- Stops: Below green VWAP for longs, above yellow VWAP for shorts.
- Bias Checks: Notes like "Price Is Below the Weekly Open Line" or "Trend Strength: DN Dot 2nd Dot SELL" add context—avoid trades against the bias (e.g., "Do Not Trade Square").
- Daily Target: Exit when hit to lock profits, using EMA crosses to stay in trends longer.
- Session Awareness: Markings like Hong Kong/London/New York help time entries around volatility.

- **Multi-Instance Execution:**
- Instance 1 (M6): Spot HA color shifts for quick entries (e.g., BUY on blue HA after up arrow).
- Instance 2 (H1/H6): Confirm with VWAP/arrow alignment for the bigger picture.
- Screenshots: Auto-saved on button presses for post-trade analysis.

This turns market chaos into ordered segments: arrow signals the pivot, VWAP provides levels, HA/EMA guide the trend.

Tips for Success and Customization
- **Keep It Clean:** No sub-indicators—use the clean screen hotkey to focus on EMA/HA/VWAP.
- **Performance:** Monitor CPU/RAM with multiple charts; clear `MQL5\Files` regularly.
- **Broker Notes:** Ensure multiple logins are allowed; test EA buttons in demo.
- **Customization Ideas:** Tweak ZZ depth (275 works for me) or EMA period in MQL5. Back up changes to Mega.nz.
- **Mindset:** Trade arrow to arrow for structure, but always respect risk (1-2% per trade). The VWAP pivot shift reduces lag, but no system is perfect—practice patience -- happy trading! -- May you make a boatload of Pip$ and Pay It Forward mon ami.

I don'tget the point with V14 - for instance by comparing these 2 Charts, in V10 a second minidot opportunity is clear to me, but with V14 it is not. Is there a way to replicate V10 behavior with V14 ?
The EMA and SEMA periods in the two versions of the system are different, so the appearance of big and mini dots will naturally vary. To make them consistent, you can adjust the EMA and SEMA periods in V14 to match the settings in V10. However, I recommend not making arbitrary adjustments, as every system released by XARD is complete, with interconnected indicators. You can add other indicators, but it's best not to alter the original indicator settings.
Perhaps you can update to v15, so you'll have a second chance just like in v10.
