Re: 🔺 MT5 XARD - Simple Trend Following Trading System

Hello again everyone, thank you for the swift and immediate help.
I've always tried to help others in my life since I was young, giving up everything for everyone and anyone no matter what it cost me. I'm a lot older now and I'm stretching myself thin! I use to trade willy nilly, no real plan just.. "Oh, this looks good!" Long story short, I had no mentor, no guidance, lots of mental anguish. Several years later after my military service the switch flipped. I'm doing all the psychology work, the positive affirmations and building my discipline. None of it matters if I am not consistent. Which is what I'm striving to do, Xard and all of you have proven if you're consistent with this system, you are DOOMED to succeed. To anyone else who may be struggling, look in the mirror, be honest with yourself, point out your bad behaviors, and then you can begin the work needed to win. FOMO, overleveraging, yolo positions, bad position entries, closing winners, letting losers run. Anything you're not supposed to do, I have done, which is interesting because of all I've achieved outside of trading you'd assume I could follow a simple set of rules.. Buy low, Sell high, secure profits, set and forget, KISS - KEEP IT SUPER SIMPLE!

Enough of that, now onto my requests and observations!

Thank you Xard, Cagliostro, Curioso, and RollerAndTrading!

MT4 to MT5 Desires EA - On MT4 I had a simple EA I do not have the source for, I see some success from you all using GROK to code, I wanted to see if there was a base out there somewhere as I have very little experience coding so I would not know how to grade the result GROK produces. Here is an image below of what I had, and an MT5 version of what I have currently, it works for now but it constantly changes my TP and SL, where as MT4 version would allow me to plot a trade and it would only apply TP, and SL ONE time, after that I could edit it as I see fit. This MT5 version I have CONSTANTLY changes the TP and SL if I edit it manually so it is actively managing the position where as I would prefer it only do it for me initially when the trade is placed. I like to use the FVG's and Dots depending on my entry so.. a fixed SL I cannot freely manage is a pain, the MT4 version allowed me to do this with ease. Could anyone make any suggestions?

Current MT5 EA I'm using if it interests anyone else for the time being. I am trading mainly to grab 30 pips as ODJ does since I don't have much screentime, I am going to buy this EA he has when I have the money! post1295532241.html#p1295532241

Just broke right now haha, but Xard has increased my profits from my tiny investment so far, I am going to compound my way to my goal.

NOTE: I tried XARD EA, as I used it on MT4 on my main chart to utilize the Close and Panic buttons, and I had my other EA on a separate chart to manage my Trailing profit, I am not getting any success with "Fixed" TP/SL on Xard, I see he is actively making updates so until then Im looking for something that can help me have that freedom!

I've updated to the newest oracle version, THANK YOU Cagliostro!
I think there is a small issue with the alerts for the newest version from April 9th, I selected TF_M15 and it began to spam the alert despite having default settings, the previous version did not do this. Just some feedback, however paired with the auto refresh it looks very good now, thank you two!
Also Musashi, your trades have been great visuals for me just like Curioso's visuals. Once I am a little better I'll begin posting my trades and maybe recording a timelapse for others, once I learn how to record..

Alerts - On MT5 I have had no success with push notifications of my desired alerts from the terminal to my mobile device, it only sends me my trade information. Where as MT4 would tell me if a triangle was printed. I wanted to get alerts for when The Oracle prints a new value and the triangle prints in the future on my phone as I normally cant sit too long at my pc, I work long hours and have to prepare everything for my long commute to work. It helps me trade during london and for my lunch break during NY time for the 30 minutes of screentime I get, anything that can make it easier will help me out. Thank you! I believe I need "PUSH" notifications?
XARD: Triangle "PUSH" notifications should be in the next update.

Hello jimfang, because you don't enter when the dot appear, you have to wait until the candle cross MA, cross below if you are looking for a sell and cross above for a buy.

Hi xard

Hey Everyone,
I’ve just wrapped up two intense weeks crafting the MT5 version of the XARD-Setup, and I’m thrilled with the progress. This week, I’m taking some time to decompress and recharge.

I’ve spotted a few quirks in the setup that I’m fixing on the fly, and I’m also noting your feedback on bigger issues—I’ll tackle those next week. A huge thanks to Kvak for resolving the ongoing MT4 VWAP issue; that’s one less thing to handle for the upcoming MT4-Setup. I also want to give a big shoutout to Cagliostro for his Oracle indicator—it’s a fantastic addition to the setup, and I’m so grateful he allowed me to use it.

My goal is to have matching MT5 and MT4 Setups soon. Once that’s done, I’ll shift my focus to developing trading strategies that work seamlessly on both platforms. I’ll keep it simple, refining one or two strategies to ensure their concepts and execution are crystal clear.

This is the roadmap for 2025, keeping us all aligned no matter which MetaTrader platform you use. It’s going to be a big year for trading setups and strategies, with major changes coming to forex-station that will continue to solidify its place as the go-to website for all your trading needs.

You're a star, a legend and the man that has come out of retirement to continue leading us into a XARD future. Our MT5 version with Cagliostro's "Oracle" is a game-changer. Let's shoot for the stars. I'll keep the site working in tip-top condition and we can't wait until you're back from Cuba.

The new "Time buttons" look sophisticated and ready for top-down analysis 🫡

I have noticed that the Oracle indicator repaints! You can all check it by simply changing the timeframe from 1 minute to 3 minutes and go back to 1 minute charts and you will see how The Oracle repaints!
XARD: Thanks for the feedback, taking notes and working our way through stuff (minor stuff this week & major stuff next week).

+C+: thanks! Are you using the last version? The issue still alive is that on very low TF like 1M/3M it can rarely freeze on specific brokers but should never repaint!!! Feel free to send me directly screenshots and feedback!

Check its version, make sure you are using the latest. I have been using it for a while now, and no I don't see it repaint and yes I am printing profit from it.

Dear Sensei Xard,
Just wanted to say a huge thank you for everything you’ve done and continue to do for this wonderful community. Your post above mentioning that you’re working on converting your latest MT5 setup to MT4 is honestly the best news I’ve heard in a long time.

For me and for many other members who’ve been using MT4 for years, change isn’t always easy, especially with a platform (MT4) we all know inside and out. So being able to experience your latest setup without needing to switch platforms is truly a blessing. A slow and steady transition is exactly what’s needed, and this step will bring a real relief to longtime MT4 users while still letting us enjoy your latest masterpiece.

Also, a big thanks to Cagliostro for sharing “The Oracle” indicator, it’s a fantastic addition to the MT5 setup. A request if there’s any chance of an MT4 version to compliment with release by Sensei Xard, I know it would mean a lot to many of us still on MT4 and help in making the transition even smoother.

Massive respect to you both for your continued contributions.

Sensei Xard is the best.

Forex-Station.com is the best.

Cagliostro did say they were working on updating it for the lower time frames. For me it’s smoother than before, I am going to test persisted mode and original today to see if I can spot any other differences.

The best thing I can think of to give him visible evidence is to enable the alerts and screenshot it as soon as it goes off, along with your settings to see if he can replicate it as well.

However anything 5 mins and below I believe we just stay patient until then.
