Making it non-repainting means not to show the last (current) leg
That means that it will always show a phase opposite to the current phase. Is that what you meant by refactoring?

For to make it non-repaint, the last leg that you see must be omitted - that is the leg that can repaint. So, to all what zigzag does, add one more leg that is missing and that is the non-repainting zigzag

my wrong!,: ) had in mind the oscilator and the already finished legs since a leg is not finished we can't have a reliable value,but i understand your point , expecting it will be useful compined with stochastis and will help to remove zig zag from the main screen

How would that be drawn on chart?

If that is centered TMA, then it recalculates.
Does it (recalculate)?
