As per my poor knowledge,averaging wicks is strange idea,out of my head,here is a picture,simply averaging 10 periods,open,close,high,low prices,and it is telling exact what the price doing now.

actually it is not averaging wicks. its kind of measure price action.
if candlestick is bull : lower wick + body - upper wick
if candlestick is bear: lower wick - body - upper wick

is it hard to code it? it will give an alert top/bottom arrow at last candle with sum of last 10 candlestick, if we define 10

btw i found an indicator and edited it little bit, maybe you use some part of it.
