Re: ⚠️ Gold reaches most overbought RSI level in history

I'm on this PC right now, so let's see what these indicators tell us (ignoring price action, news, and higher timeframes)... what about gold tomorrow? I expect a "fake" move on Tuesday, followed by a larger move in gold (perhaps not until Wednesday or Thursday—we'll see). Plan A is marked in bold, Plan B in a thinner line; the fake move will determine the direction (which is always the opposite)—though we all have a hunch about the direction, don't forget that gold can surprise you. Price rejections will give you a clue (for me, 3+ rejections constitute valid confirmation, provided the structure is also checked)—and we still have two unmet bullish targets (4035.07 and 4103.42).

EDIT: Tuesday 13:00 - What does the target finder think about the direction? picture 2 – Well, I'm curious about that; that's the second 'bull target' :)

You can see in the video just how tricky it is to fine-tune the old Hills version 1.03—it takes up to five clicks...

What’s in the new version, and what’s coming? The current version (1.07) already sets boundaries automatically and adjusts settings every two hours (by default). It features detection for approaching peaks—meaning the alarm starts buzzing before the 99% signal (specifically, on the candle prior to the extreme). I’ve got that part finished and fully functional. I’d also like to add four surprises to it... but more on that later.

Do you know about hedge ea’s? they make money out of extreme zone indicators like it’s chump change, or maybe back test ones on the market place and watch how it decides it’s orders and account recovery phases, position management would be the next phase not trying to make it perfect

Here is a video example of someone just position managing random spots, he is still active and you could probably pay him to make an ea out of your indicator he is really good trader

Hi EIS, thanks, but I created the Hills (extremes) indicator just for fun—whenever I have free time, I add something to it. It wasn't made for sale, for profit, or for public release... I do have a Hills EA—it has (in my opinion) a large drawdown, though it always ends up in profit or breaks even. For me, trading isn't about going from signal to signal. The screenshots I’m sharing here just show filters needed for the EA and other things that caught my interest. I practice a different trading style—and, above all, I use a clean chart... Thanks anyway.

seeing monthly rsi print 92.4 is proper wild tbh. remember messing with older versions of the indicator back in the day and having to manually tweak thresholds over and over, so seeing u automate the boundaries and alert stuff now is mint. gold's always a proper menace that loves throwing curveballs, but getting the tech dialed in to this level takes serious graft.

Yes, it was tough with this indicator at first (it only worked in a ranging market)... Trends were a nightmare for it, and no amount of "super settings" helped... We’ve tweaked the boundaries a bit—now it recognizes market phases, adjusts its own parameters, evaluates trade quality, and determines TP and SL... the baby is growing up :D
ETH - old
Gold - last

going from just handling chop to auto-detecting market phases takes proper graft ngl. seeing it evaluate trade quality and handle tp/sl on its own now is mint, fair play to the progress :)
