Thanks for the update. Nice report tool. However, one very important feature that is missing is the ability to select to only calculate and display trade history from a particular date within the settings before loading the indicator to a chart. That is important especially if you have a trade history that goes back years then the report takes very long to load. So with the added option to select to display only trades for today, this week, this month, this year or only trades from a specific date, then the report will load very fast.

net profit is displayed without commission. commission is read from the transaction history, i.e. the value is downloaded from your broker for each transaction. Gross profit takes into account everything, both profit and commission and swaps.

You can forcibly specify the history period that the indicator will use.

I hope you don't mind but I prefer not to give that access. The slow loading speed is not really a problem for me because I generally only keep 1000 bars of history on chart. But only yesterday I increased my on chart history to 100,000 bars to get some specific historical data. Before the market opens later today I will reduce my on chart history back to 1000 bars to reduce cpu usage. You already added filtering by date, so that should solve the problem since it won't be necessary to load the entire history. You can look at the Trade Report Indicator to see how they implemented their Date Choice filters with, Just Today's Trades, Yesterday's Trades, This Week's Trades, This Month's Trades and Last Month's Trades. You can also add, This Year's Trades, Last Year's Trades and together with your date filter to display trades from any date till the present, that would complete the easy selection of date options.

There are updated versions that display the Net% Profit or Loss but I couldn't find them on this forum. There is also a version on this forum with a button to turn it on or off but that version doesn't work at all for me for some strange reason.
