Binary options are getting banned from everywhere. Almost a year after Apple banned their apps from iOS now Google is banning them from their Google Play store too.
In March, 2018 Google also changed its Adwords Advertising Policy, which includes ban on any ads for binary options. The ban also covers Adwords for initial coin offerings (ICOs), crypto-exchanges, cryptocurrency wallets, and cryptocurrency trading advice.
Re: ESMA bans binary options, sets restrictions on CFDs for retail clients
12I think soon this will be a common practice all over social media networks.

13Do you think Twitter will issue such a ban too?LazarR wrote: Thu Apr 19, 2018 1:20 am I think soon this will be a common practice all over social media networks.

14Hey mlawson71,
I am not active on twitter, i.e. not very familiar with their policies. As far as I have seen on the web, they already banned crypto adds, so IMO respective ban on binary options would be a logical step.

15ESMA adopts final restrictions for BO and CFDs offering:
https://www.esma.europa.eu/press-news/e ... ry-options
Basically after July 02 - BO offering should be stopped in the EU, while CFDs restrictions over leverage should be placed starting for August 02.
Initial period would be 3 months and ESMA may increase the period if needed.
So I believe we would monitor interesting behavior among Brokers during coming months in attempt to hold more clients

16I won’t miss Binary Options at all. But these restrictions might force the brokers to be creative and introduce some kind of products which are not influenced by the leverage cap. Let’s see, exciting times ahead.

17I look forward to see how on August the EU regulated brokers will change their trading conditions

Re: ESMA bans binary options, sets restrictions on CFDs for retail clients
18Guys, keep in mind that following the ESMA mandate CySEC also also issued new guidelines regarding the cryptocurrency products offered by the plethora of brokers overseen by them and lowered the leverage to 1:2.

20You mean Crypto-CFDs. Yeah, but who traded it? They all waited for the BTC Futures. You will be able to trade Cryptos as now. The blockchain is a technology that is too interesting for all.FrancoisT wrote: Yea, I think this totally will be the end of the crypto-tradingDo you trade crypto Mlawson ?
