On XAUUSD, data days are when I see execution drift the most.
Before the number, the plan still looks clean: size caps, add/cut rules, when to stop. After the print, spreads jump, the screen flashes, and people rewrite the plan mid-session — add to “make it back”, drag a stop, skip a planned cut. A few days later the idea still looks fine; the execution does not.
Three boring checks I use around GDP/PCE/Fed weeks:
1) Write a hard single-trade and total size cap before the session. No cap usually becomes impulse.
2) Be able to explain adds, cuts, and stop conditions in one or two sentences. If you cannot, you will rewrite them under stress.
3) Change rules after the session, not during it.
Direction can be wrong. Mid-session rule edits are usually emotion wearing a strategy costume.
I build an MT5, XAUUSD-focused account-licensed helper called Jubao Xianpen (JB-V1). You confirm the rules and boundaries; within that license it helps keep position management consistent. Not discretionary trading, not signals, not brokerage, no return promises.
Best fit: you already have your own MT5, mainly trade gold, and know your rules but break them under stress. If you want someone to trade for you or only want entry calls, this is the wrong product.

On data days, do you lock size rules before the print, or still edit mid-session?
Trading involves risk. A tool only assists execution; you own the outcome.
