Another quick update...

The jury continued deliberations through the end of day in court. Before going home for the night, they requested transcripts of 2 witnesses' testimony: David Pecker and Michael Cohen. They also requested a written copy of Judge Merchan's jury instructions. It appears that the jury is homing in on corroborating testimony and will obey the judge's instructions to a T. Whether their verdict comes up guilty, hung, or not guilty, the jury is doing a grade A job.

Yeah, it is kind of strange. I'm seeing Biden ads on YouTube starring Di Niro and Martin Sheen--an army of elders? I think it would be wise for Biden to enlist some high-profile people who are younger and not already at the end of their careers.

Quick update...

The jury in Don The Con's ongoing felony criminal trial in the U.S. State of New York (in Manhattan) continues deliberations today. I should note that the jurors basically must decide 34 mini-verdicts because Trump is charged with 34 separate felony crimes. Each crime requires its own set of facts, even though some of those facts likely cross over among multiple crimes. Generally, and in any case involving 34 criminal charges, mixed guilty, hung, not guilty jury decisions are likely.

Here's a minor correction to my earlier statement quoted above...

In the U.S. State of New York, jurors cannot receive printed transcripts nor printed jury instructions--although they are allowed to take their own handwritten notes. Therefore, they received audio dictations of David Pecker's and Michael Cohen's testimony and Judge Merchan's jury instruction this morning.

This is interesting because in the nearby U.S. State of New Jersey, jurors cannot even take notes without special permission from a judge. The prevailing consensus in these 2 States is that jurors' private review of printed documents would only encourage squabbling over meanings of words and hence, make their decision-making inefficient. I can't say that I agree. What's more important--the court rushing through cases, or the jury's precise review of the evidence?

Per CBS News, the mood in the Manhattan courtroom is "serious" today and although Don The Con is eyeballing the jurors, none of the jurors are willing to make eye contact with him. This is a very bad sign for Trump because jurors sympathetic to a criminal defendant generally make eye contact with her/him.

The jury reached a verdict. Awaiting WNYC radio's report of Judge Merchan's reading of the verdict...

Don The Con is found guilty of all 34 felony criminal charges!

Judge Merchan will sentence Trump to his punishment on July 11, 2024.

So, the electric chair is now waiting for him?

Not exactly. Convicted felons facing sentencing for similar crimes are generally sentenced anywhere from probation/fines to 4 years in state prison.
