Beatle's setup could be improved. I would say simplified. Major components of my system are: CBDR central bank dealing range (for all instruments, this defines the ADR often to the pip), Asian range, NY open price (midnight NY time) key levels which are dynamically plotted based on past history (sometimes up to 9 yrs, yes.., setting up guardrails for price (non-repainting), standard deviations based on CBDR (I know where price may end up at the start of London session); trigger for a trade based on inside bar (the mother of consolidation, which is followed by expansion, often coincides with ATS contraction; trading windows London and NY but not just the entire sessions; for Swiss watch entries time macros used by the algo which moves price of any instrument.
Here is a snip. Some elements have been removed for simplicity. [price action on the far left side] Price stop hunts Asian range, displaces rapidly during London trading zone hitting the bottom of CBDR to the pip!; reverses back to take out the low of the Asian range and sweeps NY open price (blue dashed line; almost coincides with the mid-point of ATS contraction; drops 1/2 standard deviation (50% of 1st level CBDR). This cycle repeats.
Traders want to trade. I want to know when not to trade. This gives me a pretty good idea.
I was sad to see Beatle go. I have been in his shoes 4 yrs ago. Had no idea what a wick is. I can read naked charts, but again, having guardrails boosts my confidence.
I would like to know more about your methods.FlexTrader wrote: Thu Jul 25, 2024 11:12 am It appears I am not able to respond to private messages. The system indicates, my profile is new and I don't have access to this functionality.

I will post a step by step checklist. I like mechanical trading where you have rules, tick tock. As a matter of fact I may be able to trade on Asian range only. For every instrument. It is so simple it will blow your mind. We can still use Beatle's.Mrs.Watanabe wrote: Thu Jul 25, 2024 10:32 pm I would like to know more about your methods.![]()
