Hi guys,

Are any of you an Excel master who would be able to create a simple Excel compounding % interest template for me and the rest of the community?

I would like it to be like this if possible...

I have zero Excel knowledge and any help would be greatly appreciated

I'm sure there are many compounding interest spreadsheets and calculators you can find for free online.

What about them do you feel don't serve what you are looking for?

Thanks, I'll give it a try. I'll use it as a template to learn Excel

It is a very good template. I'll try and figure out how to add those additional columns

Yes, I have tried the free online ones and some that I've downloaded but they do not meet my needs.

The reason is that they are all based on a fixed percentage amount which is great to use as a target. However, I would love to have one that has the additional fields to calculate the next daily target amount (using the fixed %gain eg. 5%) but on the actual amount that was earned (which is calculated based on the variable %gain that we have earned the previous day).

In this way we can have the next daily target based on the fixed %gain (eg. 5%), the next day's daily target (using the fixed %gain) on the actual amount that was earned. Hope this makes sense

Hi Beatle, is there a specific reason you use this combo on the M5 chart rather than your mentioned M30 + H4 combination? Or was ist just for demonstrating purposes of the setups?
