(bit late given that most independent commentators give Russia over 95% of Pokrovsk but if you are absolutely determined to stick to the Ukrainian army’s Deepstate map and are taking it, and Zelensky saying there are only 500 odd Russian troops in Pokrovsk as gospel, then yeah sure, whatever.)
Last week the Russians were reporting they were clearing several hundreds of houses every day in Pokrovsk, that’s not fighting or even mopping up, that’s just checking the the Ukrainians really did retreat to Mynohrad.
The British Royal United Services Institute reports that the Russian air defence system is bringing down 95% of Ukrainian long range drones.
Reuters in the last week admitted that Russia's oil exports year on year of refined oil is down just 3%.
So the Ukrainian drone attacks haven’t wiped out 40% of Russia’s oil refineries as claimed by Zelensky then.
And Ukraine intel are saying that the Russians are now making 120,000 glide bombs a year (330 a day).
The glide bombs are an understated but devastating weapon. The planes launch them from safe inside Russian held territory and they are capable of taking out very heavily fortified positions and completely levelling entire tower block buildings.
The latest versions now have small jet engines giving even greater ranges so they are becoming a very cheap missile type weapon. Ukraine or the west have no analogue.
