Alright, here we go
. This is my latest trading setup that I have put together to make this trading journey of ours even more FUN and PROFITABLE.I've called it BEATS V5, which stands for Beatle's ATS Version 5
My goal with this setup was to make MY trading as simple and as efficient as possible. I want to simply look at the chart and the setup will show me if I should BUY, SELL, GET READY (for a potential trade), or STAY OUT until later.
For my trading style, I feel that I have achieved that. Hopefully, you guys will feel and achieve the same.
Nevertheless, I have to state the following because unfortunately there are stupid people in the world and stupid traders especially that will NOT follow the rules and then blame someone else for their mistakes and losses.
So, I categorically offer NO GUARANTEE that you will be successful or achieve great returns in your trading using this setup. You may lose some or all of your money by trading this system. It works for ME and that is all that matters.
You are welcome to add, delete and make any changes to the system that you feel are necessary to facilitate YOUR style of trading. And DO NOT FORGET that at the end of the day, YOU are solely responsible for any and all trades you place. ONLY YOU can make the final decision to BUY or SELL!
Okay, with that out of the way let's get to the system.
Components of the BEATS V5
Main Chart Indicators:
1) ATS v5 - This has been included to provide the framework for the system. With ATS 5 I can easily see where price is in relation to value i.e. is it ABOVE or BELOW value (very important). You will also notice that the ONLY components of ATS I have selected are the contraction boxes and the Liquidity lines. The rest I felt was NOT necessary for the system to work optimally.
2) Support and Resistance Lines (Blue and Yellow lines across the screen)- These will dynamically show the Monthly(MN), Weekly(W1), Daily(D1), 4 Hour(H4), and Hourly(H1) support and resistance levels on the charts. I've included this because now I do not have to draw any of these levels myself and I can instantly see where the price is in relation to these levels. And in combination with the ATS value line, it is invaluable!
3) Elliot Wave Oscillator arrows - These are similar to semaphores and I personally like them on the chart. In tandem with the next indicator, they provide additional confirmation.
4 Zee Support and Resistance (Blue and Red bars, and Scissors) - These are MY provisional ENTRY and EXIT signals. Because they are probably based on the zig-zag they do have the potential to recalculate. So I NEVER enter or exit exactly when these signals appear. I've included them because unlike semaphores they ONLY appear when a potential reversal point is imminent! This I LOVE
5) Market/Volume Profile - It is NOT visible but you bring this indicator up by pressing the R key on your keyboard. To remove it simply press the DELETE key on your keyboard. I DO NOT provide any volume training so please go and research this on YouTube or other sources
So the whole premise of my system is that I will be trading from BAR to BAR, Bar to SCISSORS, or SCISSORS to BAR
NO NEED to speculate as to when to enter or when to exit. For me, it works perfectly and I can now chill between trades and enjoy the quiet. It is advisable to ONLY trade from bar to scissors but after getting very familiar with the system you can then consider trading from scissors to bar. But we'll deal with that option in our discussion in the forum.Sub-window Indicators:
1) ADX Trend - Blue and Red line with white shadow. This shows me the trend and is an excellent divergence indicator as well.
2) Waddah Attar - the trusted and reliable Waddah just works showing volume (Always been one of my favourites)
3) On Balance Volume - An additional volume indicator
4) Supertrend - Again a personal favourite of mine that I've included in previous versions of my XU-Hybrid system
5) And the final one is @kvak's excellent 3x XUMA indicator that I've set to show the crossing of the 5, 13, and 50 EMA's from the BTMM system by Steve Mauro. ONLY a change in the 5 ema colour is required (the 13 and 50 colour changes are additional potential entries)
Trading Rules: (extremely simple)
Using the sub-window indicators I will ONLY enter or exit a trade when I have ALL the sub-window indicators in alignment AFTER the appearance of the Zee Support and Resistance bars/scissors! Please see the screenshot for clarification. Now many a trader may feel that this is overkill or they are NOT necessary. But as I've said previously it works for ME.
DON'T FORGET that you can change any and all aspects of the system to your liking.
Please go ahead and test the system on demo and then all feedback will be welcomed. Criticism is welcomed as well but I only request that if you have any please accompany it with a suggestion or solution to your criticism
