i was backtesting it (you can just use strategy tester on MT4, load the "moving average.exe", pick a timeline, "start", when the screen loads, pause it and load XU54, then press play and you can backtest it) and for some reason there the semaphore recalculates as it should but the background and candles don't repaint as they do in real time trading, so you can see what you'd see in real time trading.
