Re: ADX DMI Indicators for MT4

Here is my thinking:. Lets say you're trading gold or any asset. And for example, we use some EMA's to confirm our direction. For this example, I'm on the 1 hour TF and I have 3 EMA's (24, 48, 120). Since I know my direction, I just want confirmation of a signal. In this case, I will use the Heiken Ashi for my alert signals for entry to keep it simple. Once I get an alert, I want to look at the DMI indicator for a confirmed entry.

If selling, you want to make sure the DMi- is above the MA and DMI+ is below. And vice-versa for a buying setup. It should keep you away from false signals. But anyway, that's my thought process. And thank you again, Kvak!!!!!

PS. If alerts could be added when the DMIs cross the MA...OMG, I may shed a tear!!!

Here is separate plus di and minus di without MA (you have to drag ma on DI) I don't think this idea will work any way........... try.

ADX -DI +DI with multiple ADX displays + Histogram & DMI with 3x display modes

Here is updated version with arrows and alerts and 3 state for displaying.
Default is your requested setup ( if I understand it right ).
Test it...

Kvak,

Thank you! I didn't realize the options you provided in the indicator. Absolutely brilliant! The option highlighted gives alerts when both the DMI+ and DMI- are opposite of each other. I didn't think of that Thanks again for your time and phenomenal skills!!!!!

P.S. KVAK, KVAK, KVAK! The more I'm looking at this indicator, the more I fall in love with it. YOU ARE THE MAN! Thank you...I can't say if enough!

Hey Alpha,

Your separate indicators have been a blessing. However, I downloaded my broker's data and now every time I switch to a new pair, it takes a long time to load. Is there a way you can add an option to limit the bars? I like to back-test a lot and maybe this could be an option or maybe a lighter version can be created. Again, thank you for your indicator!!!!!

P.S. Hey Aplha, Disregard. I found a workaround.
