this is silly,
its is a global economy, the strength or weakness of a pair is not dictated by what bank is open
also, algos do not shut down when the bank is closed
So what you suggest and or analyze, any of your idea and research ?

if usdindex is moving then eur is moving the prices, and if usdindex is static then chf is driving the prices, just because of weightage of eur in usdindex. but it is more complex then this, so better to move with , where price action goes.

mr market is always right.

no one knows what is the demand and supply of physical currency at interbank platform, driving prices, i really do not know, actually no one knows, if some one tells you that he knows it, what is going on interbank platform, then probably he does not know what he knows !

but one thing is sure price action will reflect it on charts on usdindex and eurchf chart read simultaneously. just a thought, if you like it .
