Kaja Kallas wants Russia to be forced by someone else to accept a ceasefire.
Kaja tells us ‘’we still need to get from a situation where Russia pretends to negotiate to a situation where they need to negotiate’’.
‘’Russia's summer offensive has failed. US EU sanctions are having a huge impact on the Russian economy. To increase the chance for peace, we need to increase the pressure on Russia. The notion that Ukraine is losing is also flat out false.’’
This is all just rhetorical narrative nonsense, Kaja offers no evidence to back up what she states and offers no means on how to achieve her wish list.
“We cannot accept borders being changed by force” Kaja tells us, just don’t mention Kosova, Serbia, Yugoslavia, Syria or upcoming Venezuela.
Kaja and Ursula tell us ‘we have tools’, but the truth is that ‘they’ are the tools, and they’re woefully inadequate for the job the elites have given them.
Which is probably a blessing for the people of western Europe.
So too are Starmer and Macron and Merz inadequate, now they all talk of getting ready for a war with Russia, hopefully they will all be washed away before they can start one.
Obviously the elites were looking for useful idiots but ffs, they surely didn’t need to go straight to the bottom of the barrel.
The real problem of course is that it's completely unfair that eastern Europe has $75 trillion in natural resources and western Europe has none. To correct this lamentable injustice they need US muscle and the US are always keen for a big payday.
They’ve got the US on site and have got a fire going in Ukraine. Now they just need to keep fanning the flames, keep escalating, and soon enough the Russian government will collapse and they can get some western puppets in there to control all those lovely resources.
The fly in the ointment is that the Russians keep winning and Kiev is coming into their sights.
Something must be done, especially now that, very err … bravely, western Europe gave up cheap energy and now, as a consequence, they’re all going straight down the toilet with no hope of ever crawling out again without an outright Russian defeat, which they’re totally dependent on the Americans achieving for them.
