The Ukraine conflict continues towards it's inevitable end, the pace quickens as the lack of Ukrainian manpower creates holes in it's defence lines.

There is no sign nor hope that Zelensky will call a halt to the debacle, his life is likely to end when the conflict does. If not by Ukrainian nationalists who have constantly threatened Zelensky should he surrender to the Russians, then by the men of the Ukrainian armed services who have been dragged off the streets and forced into hopeless battlefield operations purely to satisfy Zelensky's vanity and his illogical refusal to give up any ground for whatever reason.

Western commentators with contacts in US intelligence are putting the Ukrainian army losses at around 1.5 million dead and over 2.5 million severely wounded though you won't find those figures mentioned in the western press.

The western press still repeat verbatim Ukrainian propaganda figures that imply they have a 10 to 1 kill ratio advantage over the Russians but can offer no explanation as to why that might be.

So all we get is the tropes of the Russians fighting in human waves armed with shovels and who's tech is dependant on chips taken from washing machines.

No one offers any evidence of the Ukrainian claims other than hearsay and in spite of endless video evidence to the contrary (see the History Legends or Colonel Markus Reisner on youtube for in-depth analysis on modern Russian military tactics).

Trump continues to decry the loss of life while continuing to prop up the Zelensky regime.

'Why oh why won't Putin just surrender!!!!!!!'

Putin won't surrender because he is on a clear path to victory while the dreams of the west and their proxy ended firstly with the failure of the 'killer' sanctions (forcing Russia out of Swift) and finally with the failure of the Ukrainian 2023 summer offensive.

Ukrainians continue to suffer, and die, and continue to lose territory because of their pathologic puppet ruler and the US need for 'forever wars' to keep the cash flowing from US taxpayers to the US's only remaining manufacturing industry, the giant US military industrial complex.


And currently:

NATO's Rutte changes his mind again and now - again reaffirms Ukraine must join NATO – sometime. Er yeah right.

Zelensky talks to western powers about getting help with terrorist attacks on Russia (asymmetric war) because it's looking very desperate on the battlefronts.

Zelensky can never let go even after it's all over, he needs to continue and be the Ukrainian 'president in exile'.

A mainstream German newspaper says that Ukraine is down to just 120 armoured fighting vehicles - in total.


Meanwhile, NYT with a leaked secret intel report says that the US attack on Iran did not cripple their nuclear programme or anything like it.

These attacks by the US will affirm to Iran the need for nuclear weapons. Trump would be much better off encouraging Iran stick to developing nuclear power, as they have every right to do (as per the international non-proliferation treaty), and need, given 30 years of US sanctions preventing development of Iran's electric infrastructure. Russia could continue to oversee it, Russia has always stood against nuclear proliferation.

Note that the Iranian parliament just voted to suspend cooperation with the international nuclear overseer the IAEA who demand to inspect Iran's new hiding places, the locations of which they would immediately pass on to the US.

As sure as night follows day Zelensky turns up at an international conference just as a squad of poor Ukrainian soldiers are sent to their deaths in yet another short lived PR stunt counteroffensive, into the Sumy region this time. Just so Zelensky can tell all his friends at the shindig 'look, we're winning, we just need a little more money.'

And so, just as dependable, Zelensky starts with the demands … well let's make it a round '$150 billion' this time, and why not, In for a penny, in for a pound.

And while Zelensky's doing the rounds rattling his tin cup he's also taking the opportunity to tell all and sundry that, thanks to his extensive on the job experience, he's the best person to lead Ukraine for the next ... well forever really.

Meanwhile, NATO admits to worries of a complete collapse of Ukraine within 12 months if there's no new aid package from the US.

And, in a another story, according to an unnamed NATO official ''Ukraine is going to have a difficult summer because Putin, misguidedly, thinks he's winning.”

You see, if we weren't living in upside-down world then that sentence would not make any sense at all, but we are, so there you have it.


Trump is still arguing about the success or not of the strike on the Iranian nuclear sites. His own fault of course as he, in his usual style, immediately claimed total destruction well before there could have been any actual evidence to back the claim.

His habitual use of the bellicose works great for real estate and trade deals, but for wars could lead to disastrous misunderstandings.

Now he's saying they put a stop to Iran's nuclear programme which we know is true, because the Iranians knew a strike could be coming and so shut it down and moved all the nuclear material out and hid it somewhere else.

This was reported in the western media and complained about by the international inspection team well before the actual strike.


At the NATO meeting countries humour Trump by agreeing to the increase of 5% of GDP spending for defence. There's not a cat in hells chance of this actually happening. It is all pure theatre. The big NATO countries absolutely do not have the money and their borrowing is already off the charts.

Estimates are the big 5 Euro NATO countries need to find an extra $100 billion a year each.

If they cut back on essential services any further the people will kick them out of power and any other financial trickery or attempts to borrow these huge sums will cause a bond market crash.

And besides, the 'Daddy' will be gone in 3 years anyway so why bother. Anyway, no one actually believes the claims that Russia has any reason to invade any NATO country unless they strike at Russia first.

The whole Russia danger propaganda thread is solely for the purpose of providing an excuse to keep backing a losing war and save face a little longer for the idiots who got us into it.

2 more Ukraine training sites hit by Russian Iskander missiles in the last 2 days. And Russian long range Shahed drone production expected to increase from 500 a day to 700 a day.

These main missile and drone types are the reason Ukrainian forces are unable to gather in any sizeable numbers along the frontline and means they are unable to even attempt any kind of sizeable counterattacks.

Commentators are saying that this months territorial gains by Russia will be the biggest since the start of the Ukrainian retreat after the failure of their 2023 counteroffensive.

Zelensky comes away from the NATO summit with nothing -shock.

No announcement of resuming aid to Ukraine from Trump.

If it was going to happen at all this was the place to announce it.

No promises of money or weapons or military equipment. Mark Rutte did say that of course Ukraine should join NATO when the time was right (which won't be any time soon).

Zelensky even offered to buy air defence missiles off Trump but Trump said there were none to spare.

France's Macron says that Trump should act decisively in the Ukraine conflict as he did in Iran, presumably meaning Trump should bomb Russia?

The final communique was a watered down verbal note of vague support for Ukraine and that was it.

Zelensky did get an agreement for a combined Ukraine/EU investigation into alleged Russian war crimes. Because he's getting nowhere with the ICC.

Zelensky has filed 2 war crimes with the ICC, the Bucha incident was dismissed by the ICC because Ukraine were unable to hand over any admissible evidence at all.

The second case, that the ICC arrest warrant for Putin was issued for, also lacked evidence. The Russians have been dealing with the UN over the missing children allegations. Russia have supplied the names and whereabouts of all children they rescued from the war zone (most of them of Russian ethnicity) and several international organisations have investigated and found they are well and either with their parents or their parents are still trapped in Ukraine and do not want them returned yet.

Russia has consistently asked Ukraine for the names of children Ukraine thinks Russia is holding but Ukraine has never replied.

There are many missing children unaccounted for but they were smuggled into the west not Russia. One 9 year old girl was found last week in France at Disneyland being married off to a 34 year old Pakistani man in a marriage ceremony with 100 guests. The arrested Pakistani man had previously served time in a British jail having been convicted of raping 2 children.


The Ukrainian mapping site Deep State, taken over by the Ukraine army around 2 years ago, and being the main site used by western commentators have just admitted they had been lied to by frontline troops and their depicted frontlines were not valid.

They reported that as a consequence their maps had fallen far behind in revealing Russian territorial gains over recent weeks.

This comes just a day or 2 after the Ukraine army chief said that Ukraine had halted the Russian advance in Sumy.

Deep State said they would be updating their maps soon.

The Ukrainian Lithium deposit near Pokrovsk mentioned as part of the minerals deal signed with the US has just been taken by the Russians. Maybe Trump will bomb Russia after all?

Back to Iran and the US and Israel now seem to be admitting the 400kg of enriched Iranian uranium was not destroyed in the attack after all and they want it handed over. They're still adamant the equipment was destroyed but without any real evidence to back up the claim though.

At the NATO summit:

The US is no longer interested in Ukraine. Trump has moved on, Kellogg has disappeared, Witkoff is encamped in the middle east.

There is no plan for any new aid for Ukraine from the US. No money, no ammo, no equipment.

Russia has opened a new offensive in Zaporizhzhia in the south west, is encircling Pokrovsk in the centre is and advancing in Sumy in the north east.

Russian drone and missile attacks on Ukraine cities are more intensive than ever, and there is obviously hardly any Ukrainian air defence left to stop them.

And where the US leads Europe follows, they too did not make any announcements at the NATO summit of new aid for Ukraine.

And NATO itself? NATO head Mark Rutte has made all sorts of pie in the sky statements about spending loads of other people's money, a $trillion no less.

But NATO needs to be given it first and really, in the current economic climate, that's just not going to happen unless Russia really does look like it's going to invade. And frankly, it's nowhere near and the heads of state know it.

It's the unelected heads of unaccountable organisations like the EU and NATO who are looking for an excuse to take huge amounts of money from the individual sovereign states.


Meanwhile Zelensky says that Ukraine produces 40% of it's military needs. This is complete nonsense. Ukraine produces some of it's own drones in little, spread-out cottage industries and that's it. Ukraine is totally reliant on the west for it's military equipment and if that supply has stopped how much does Ukraine have in it's stockpile before collapse?

Not enough to outlast the Trump presidency, that's for sure.

No matter when, Zelensky's goal now is to be Ukraine's president in exile, based somewhere nice in the west, Paris, Florida maybe. Somewhere where he will get top EU, UK or US security protection.

Zelensky has also just announced a stop to Ukrainian business inspections, this is needed because … the systemic corruption of people in government positions.

'The moratorium is intended to "protect businesses from any pressure by unscrupulous individuals in various government positions," the president said on June 27.'


Interesting video below, I have said before that a drone strike on an armoured vehicle doesn't usually kill it, the crew disembark and Russian vehicles are often reclaimed and repaired later on as they move forward on the battlefield.

But see the Russians are now using drone swarms to cripple the vehicle, attack the disembarking crew and then kill the vehicle all at once.
