The drone wars continue. Russia is sending over 500 drones and missiles every night while western analysis says the Russians are able to produce over 500 per day (and increasing) and are the much improved long-range drones now with jet engines and able to carry 4 x the payload of earlier versions.

Ukraine have gone back to claiming they are shooting them all down but video footage would dispute those claims.

Meanwhile Ukraine is also firing off several hundred drones into Russia currently but they are much less sophisticated and the majority are being shot down by Russia's very advanced multi-layered air defence systems.


The EU are working on their 19th sanctions package, this time they mean business and will be targeting the … err, German NordStream pipeline that the US already blew up.

And once again the EU will try an oil price cap, didn't work last time, seems it's difficult for a consumer to set the price charged by the producer for some reason.

NATO chief Mark Rutte calls for a 400% increase in air defences saying that Russia will be ready to attack NATO in 5 years.

Not a day goes by without Mark Rutte calling for an increase in something or other but the truth is that EU countries haven't done anything to increase defence budgets let alone start any kind of mobilisation which tells you all you need to know about what they really think of the actual 'Russian threat'.

The real question though is why would Russia even want to attack NATO countries?

Western Europe is natural resources poor, over burdened with debt, has very serious population demographic problems and not far from civil wars, many countries are deindustrialising, and the list goes on for reasons why Russia would not want to touch western Europe with a barge pole.

There's only one reason why Russia would want to attack western Europe and that's if western Europe attacked Russia first, which is why NATO really must get the hell out of Ukraine.


BTW, isn't odd that those who warned against involving Ukraine in a war with Russia are called anti-Ukrainian while those who cheer on Ukraine's destruction and encourage their continuation in the conflict are called pro-Ukrainian.

More commentators now saying Russia needs to, and will, continue towards the Dnieper river and top and tail that by taking Kiev and Odessa. Kiev because Russia needs to remove the Zelensky regime from the capital and Odessa to stop the flow of weapons and equipment coming in by sea.


Besides the destruction of Ukraine the next biggest loser in this conflict will be NATO which is also likely to face destruction.

The US will be done propping up and paying for western Europe's basic defence needs. After 70 years of peace now that the tide has turned everyone can see western Europe has been swimming naked.

The world can see the complete ineffectiveness of NATO to the point where all those dependant on it have started shouting out that “NATO is the greatest defence org in the history of the world”. As always, try to cover up a damning truth with a lie.

For aviation fans:

NATO's Rutte tells us 'the Russians are coming' while at the same time Ursula van de Lying is again telling us the Russian economy is in tatters and we just have to hold on supporting Ukraine a little longer.

The problem with the mixed, bullshit messaging is not just that they think you're stupid, they do, but the bigger problem is that they're stupid.

As mentioned before, studies have shown that the most important attribute for any successful leader is not competence but narcissism.


On the battlefronts the Russians look about to make a determined push into the Dnipro region with 2 Russian armies now with a foot each over the border which may signal that Russia does intend to push right up to the Dnipro river.

This would give them a natural defensible geographic barrier as well as a 300km buffer zone to add to their own border.

It will also spell the end of the key Ukrainian industrial cities on the west bank of the Dnipro that utilise the natural resources gathered from the east and provided former Ukraine with it's main source of income.

Western Ukraine will be left with a solely agrarian economy and inevitable poverty and as such will be of no interest to either NATO or the EU.

The Ukrainian nationalist Banderites will be forced out of Kiev and back into Lviv where they came from and that will basically be the end of the conflict.

Putin would consider this 'job done'.

The Ukrainian region east of the Dnipro will have been demilitarised, denazified and what is left of Ukraine will not be of any actual use to NATO.

If only the Ukrainians had implemented the Minsk 1 agreement, or the Minsk 2 agreement, or the Istanbul 1 agreement, or accepted Putin's June 2024 offer, or accepted the Istanbul 2 offer.


In the pic below (taken from the video below) is a good example of Russian battle tactics.

The Russians (red shading) have made a cauldron and then encircled the Ukrainians (yellow shading), but but but, they're not encircled!!!

They are actually because the dark grey shaded area is patrolled by drones and ranged by artillery so it is effectively a vertical encirclement.

Call it what you like but the space is there to herd the Ukrainians from east to west through that dark grey shaded artillery and drone kill zone.

This tactic has been used continuously all across the battleline for several years now and is the reason why the Russian kill rate is 10 to 1 and not the other why round as the Ukrainian propagandists would have you believe.

Reminder that the main objective in attrition warfare is the actual destruction of the enemy rather than territorial gains.

The idiot Kellogg is desperate now so has come up with a yet another new plan. He now says that there should be an immediate ceasefire whereby everyone stops where they are, no pulling back 15km anymore, Russia can keep de facto what they have taken and all sanctions will be lifted.

Is it deliberate or just stupidity that Kellogg still seems to fail to understand what is actually happening? Nevertheless, he's wasting his time, again.

The sanctions are not a major concern for Russia, not that Kellogg will get the equally idiotic EU/UK to lift their sanctions anyway.

The Russians know full well that any kind of a ceasefire before settlement is just a trap.

Secondly, what is the actual inducement for the Russians to stop when they're achieving their goals on the battlefield? There isn't one!

Kellogg still believes the propaganda that the Russians are suffering and are desperate to stop fighting but the increasing sense of urgency from Kellogg is because he knows that Ukraine is on the verge of total collapse.

Kellogg is still trying to pretend that Ukraine really don't need to just surrender.

The Russians won't agree to this because this new deal doesn't address any of their objections to the other half dozen Kellogg deals offered.

It's almost as if the west don't even listen to anything the Russians say (they don't actually because they're too wrapped up in their own bubble).

The Russians will not agree to stop the fighting until the west and Ukraine and Russia have agreed a final settlement (as they have said a thousand times).

And that final settlement will address the root causes of the conflict which, even after all this time, the latest Kellogg plan still doesn't even so much as mention.

Russia wanting to address the causes of the conflict are of course 'maximalist demands', while the Ukrainians just want an immediate Russian surrender and for Putin to hand himself over to the ICC for trial.

The Ukrainian position is thus NOT maximalist at all but rather simply 'fair and just'.

Why oh why can't the Russians understand this????????????? (sarcasm)


Meanwhile, the bodies swap got underway, Russia has 6000 ready for immediate swap and Ukraine said they have 6000 too, in the first batch Russia handed over 1,500 but Ukraine could only actually find 27.


Lavrov meanwhile has been very critical of UK's involvement in Ukraine subterfuge and there have been Russian attacks on what are believed to be UK personnel and assets in Ukraine including an Iskander missile strike on the closed UK embassy in Kiev.

The Russians said the site was being used by the UK to train Ukrainians in drone warfare.

Kier Starmer the UK prime minster is a great supporter of wars and has promised to increase the defence budget to defeat Putin but the new UK Strategic Defence Review out yesterday is all words of support but no actual money.

Marco Rubio the US secretary of All Things issued a congratulations message to the Russian people on their Russia day holiday yesterday hoping for 'peace between Russia and the US' ...

And ... 'the United States remains committed to supporting the Russian people as they continue to build on their aspirations for a brighter future' the communique published on the White House web site said.

err, wait, what?

This can only be seen as a sign and recognition that this conflict will end and not in the west's favour.

But it's not over yet. Russian commentators expect that a push all the way to the Dnipro river will take till the end of 2026 if there is no sudden Ukrainian army collapse.

Zelensky is said to be ready to mobilise 18-25 year olds though no announcement as yet.

There are also many saying that the Ukrainians will increase their dirty war tactics as they become more desperate over time (terrorist attacks).


And BTW, the new EU sanctions oil price cap just went flying out the window with Israel's attack on Iran.

So no, that's not going to happen.

This conflict will be resolved, as most are, by the fracturing of the country along ethnic lines. And that means there's not going to be a lot left for actual Ukrainians.

The actual Ukrainians allowed themselves to be used by the west's neocons who, having sparked the coup in 2014 then encouraged the Banderites newly installed in Kiev to start a civil war with the ethnic Russians in the east of the county.

The Ukrainians themselves made the laws that stripped basic rights from the Russian speaking ethnic Russians of east Ukraine.

Historically that is a guaranteed recipe for the start of a civil war. It all was planned in advance.

The endgame was of course the break up of Russia not Ukraine, but when you roll the dice sometimes the unexpected happens.
