I have used a few over the years when I ran Windows. Bitdefender was the last one and the best one.

Window Defender. I barely download anything, but cookie and internet exploration is another topic

What I fear the most, to be honest, is not things I download. Cookies and popup ads that trip my virus protection is what bothers me the most.

I use Malwarebytes.

I use Malwarebytes as well, especially for scanning when I have suspicions something is wrong.

the problem with using only one software is that the detection of one isn't the best
sometimes viruses aren't detected but are there

Heuristic algos aren't perfect unfortunately

Norton360 works best for me.

Indeed, so I combine the two.

I never use any third party antivirus software for my windows system. I use windows inbuilt antivirus app - Microsoft security essentials.

And you never get any malware?
