I've searched high and low for Maurice Ravel's original live performance to no avail. Ravel suffered from dementia which is believed to have helped him create this repetitive masterpiece. It appears that someone has put Ravel's original LP audio track online:

Yes, I know it's the "cover version". What I meant, I feel more connected to the composition when I visually see what the musicians are doing, than the animation.
