The say trading is 90% mental and 10% technical. People chase the technicals, systems, indicators, EA's etc, but still lose money.
Why? Because the other 90% is working against you.

Trend couldn’t be easily predicted but the use of the right tools , like moving average could help in determining when the trend is about to reverse

Stupidly I say: Trend [i] = ((Close [i] -Open [i + bar]) / Point);extern int bar = 1 ....or more bars

BTW, on EURCAD D1 a SHS is possibly merging for another round back into the range.

More or less that calculation is momentum
