I’m having an issue with the arrows; sometimes they give false signals. As you mentioned before, if I’m in a buy position, I should exit when the red arrow appears, and vice versa. However, the problem is with the recalculation. Do you have any settings or recommendations to improve this?
You should revisit my earlier posts about that arrow. The arrow is built on a combination of RSI, Bollinger Bands (BBands), Moving Average (MA), and Bear Bull Power indicators, giving it an accuracy rate of up to 80% because it recalculates based on price movements.

That’s why I mentioned it doesn’t repaint, but it recalculates, meaning you need to confirm it using the 3-IN-1 rule to ensure its validity.

I highly recommend learning to understand what price is doing on the chart for better insight and decision-making.

Hi mate, I checked it. It repaints, not only recalculates, as does imply future data for drawing the arrows, just to let you know. The difference is that arrows are moved after they are already painted on the chart.

Too good to be true ;)

My suggestion is to keep only non repainting elements for accuracy. The idea that multiple repainting indicators makes one good decision does not sound too safe.

Hey, I just noticed something unusual why is this indicator using those DLLs, especially wininet.dll? It seems unnecessary for its functionality and looks suspicious and could potentially be a security risk. Indicators using wininet.dll can potentially send or receive data over the internet, which raises concerns about information leakage. Please review and remove such dependencies from the template. I have also attached the same indicator's source code, which I found on the forum. Please use this version instead.

Dear all, never use indicators that rely on wininet.dll, as they can pose significant security risks. Such indicators could potentially:

Take screenshots of your entire screen and upload them to an external server.
Send sensitive data, such as your trading account details, to a third party.
Download and execute malicious code without your knowledge.

I’ve also backtested it before. In some cases, it draws an arrow, and then the price reverses, but the arrow remains. Initially, I realized it was designed using four different indicators, so the filter cannot be 100% accurate. It likely calculates based on the price crossing the BB line and factors in RSI and Bull Bear Power.

However, my win rate with it is usually quite high, exceeding 90%. To address its limitations, I use higher timeframes to check its position in the market structure. That’s why I updated to version V10 for Christmas, making it easier to identify reversal points!

For anyone entering trades based on the arrow, it’s crucial to confirm its validity using the 3-IN-1 rule, which is the core filtering mechanism of this system.

Thank you, Cagliostro, for your input. I had already backtested this and found it aligns well with higher timeframes! 😊

Yes, it aligns with higher TF as the repainting section is exactly the Magic Filter, that is a MTF filter ;)

I’ve explored thousands of indicators to build a system that works for both Swing and Scalp trading. I find non-repainting indicators to be more reliable compared to repainting ones, as repainting involves recalculations that can be misleading.

Understanding the nature of an indicator makes it much easier to trust it and avoid doubting the algorithm. 😊
