I'm not sure if this is against forum rules, but there is one on the MT4marketplace.  It's free and works decently well if you are looking at consolidation areas.

An interesting indicator from the Forex TSD days called "Silence" which helps you to determine flat price action (no trend) and the beginning of a volatile move.

Once the red line (volatility) crosses the blue line (aggressiveness) this can be seen as the start of a trending move.

Maybe MTF could work, like D1 and H1 and trading M15, just a thought.
