Hi Everyone,

I'm using this Tenkan Sen Only indicator as a Baseline for my trading strategy. When a candle closes above/below it, you get an alert (with Push notifications). I downloaded it from FF and thought someone else may be interested. I looked for one here, but didn't find one.

Happy trading everyone!!!!!

Hi Mr Tools,
I was just wondering if we could combine all the signals from different components of Ichimoku and produce one signal.

Conditions are;

1. Span A Span B Crossover;
2. Price above/below the cloud;
3. Tenkan and Kijun cross;
4. Chikou Span above/below the cloud and the price
5. Tenkan and Kijun both above/below the cloud

If all these conditions met, it should give an arrow to open a buy/sell position.

Please let me know if this can be done. Thanks in Advance

Seems I have done something similar but hardly got any signals, but will see what I can come up with.

Kumo Implied Volatility indicator MT4

Added jurik smoothing to the kvi, please remember it's not a directional indicator it is using the kumo cloud thickness to measure volatility, similar to standard deviation.

Ichimoku Thunder and Lightning Clouds

According to this ebook by Akira Takahashi which cost $US0.99 on Amazon:
Ichimoku Thunder and Lightning Clouds was a concept of trading built by floor traders in Tokyo to teach new traders how to trade a fusion of price action and Ichimoku using not one cloud or kumo but two. Dive into this unique concept beyond the traditional Ichimoku standard.

Here are the settings for MT4:

  • Fast Kumo = Lightning Kumo Cloud = (7,12,15)
  • Slow Kumo = Thunder Kumo Cloud = (7,21,48)

On the TradingView platform, use:

  • Fast Kumo = Lightning Kumo Cloud = (7,12,15,6)
  • Slow Kumo = Thunder Kumo Cloud = (7,21,48,21)

If the prices are above both clouds, go LONG.

Vice versa for short.

If the prices are below both clouds, go SHORT.
