Besides, (see your message above): this was not a "complaint". Criticism of any sort, for me, is vital to improve (whatever it is I/we have in front of me/us).
Actually - I think - it is a sign of respect because you take what somebody else says (or has produced) seriously and you want it to be good (if not perfect). But not many people see it that way.
