For now it seems to work.
Let's see what Monday brings.
I am not saying: do this - but it may be another improvement (at some distant time in the future) to display the id instead of MA in the button, otherwise - if you are a fool like me - you'll have several instances of the same button and need to remember which is which under all circumstances (W-D-H4-H1).
(It's nice to see how the MAs constitute su&re at different stages: just in case someone was wondering on Friday: now why does price hurry on down like that just to stop there? - and before any newcomer asks for the inputs: it's simple Xard, nothing more, nothing less; so, you need to check there...)

I really appreciate the indicator, but allowing adjustment would be so helpful.

That does not need to be adjusted. It simply picks background color to give shape to the histogram bars so they look like candles. Simply leave it as default

Try the non-repainting Moving Averages with ATR Bands indicator which was posted by Banzai.

Might be what you're looking for.
