Volatility Adjusted Stochastic

371
I couldn't find this posted on our forum so here is the Volatility Adjusted Stochastic for MT4 coded by Mladen.

As explained by Mladen.
In the more volatile periods this Stochastic is calculating shorter period stochastic in order to adapt quicker to the market and in times of low volatility it calculates longer stochastic periods. The adapting is applied to the main calculation only (it is not applied to signal line nor to stochastic smoothing (slowing))

In this example the upper is the regular stochastic and the lower is the volatility adjusted stochastic. At a first glance the difference is not big till we look at periods of sudden price changes (volatility) where difference can be significant

Roofing Stochastic

375
Having a look through my favorite files from Forex-TSD, this is the Roofing Stochastic by Mladen.

As explained by Mladen:
The roofing Stochastic is a version that uses adaptive smoothing in calculation instead of using fixed length calculation for that. In some cases difference is significant (especially in cases when there is a sudden change in price) so it seems to be better responsive to what the market is doing.

This is the iStochtxt by Mladen. I couldn't find this one on our forum so thought it might be useful for those who want arrows and Stochastic turning points displayed on their charts. It also comes with MTF display, Arrows and Alerts.

Range Oscillator

378
This is the Range Oscillator coded by Mladen and is very similar to the "raw" Stochastics and Williams Percent Range.

As explained by Mladen:
The Range Oscillator is an indicator that shows the relative position of median price in the highest high to lowest low range for desired period. It is bound to 0 - 100 range, hence those levels are the extreme levels. Usage should be similar to stochastic indicator.
