Agree with you on this one. I mainly trade on my laptop but have used mobile MT4 at times when I wasn't home. I prefer trading from a computer ten times over.

I use Trading View for analyzing charts and MT4 to place the trades

I honestly didn't realise people were still using it for TA. Just seems easier to do my TA on TV on a computer and then check the broker feed on MT4 for specific points and place entries.

Mobile MT4 trader who used the Alligator indicator to scalp is now bankrupt and suing broker
