Unless its Palladin our tanks suck
I also read somewhere that the Abrams is so big and heavy it needs a gas turbine engine that guzzles fuel at a ridiculous rate, fine in Saudi Arabia or Russia, not so good in the Ukraine.

EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell spinning the truth 180 degrees.

"The war in Ukraine is an existential conflict for us." No it never was, you pushing NATO right up to the Russian border created an existential threat to Russia.

EU relations with China will not develop normally unless China convinces Russia to leave Ukraine. Life is complicated. If we don't like their behaviour, we can't be good friends. The war in Ukraine is an existential conflict for us. China needs to understand this. And China needs to understand that the EU does not like the circumvention of sanctions.

Meanwhile,

Possible deliveries of weapons or military goods to Russia by third countries are equated with participation in the conflict in Ukraine - German Foreign Minister Annalena Burbock

Err, but Germany suppling weapons to Ukraine isn't equated to participation??

Either these leaders are totally stupid or they think we are?

Meanwhile (2), 'Let's not mention the counteroffensive anymore.

General Hodges: the US can " screw up " the UAF counteroffensive
“What can ruin everything is the West’s excessive pressure on Ukraine,” the former commander of US forces in Europe told Business Insider.
Hodges pointed out that the US and allies spent billions of dollars "because they believed in what Ukraine was fighting for."

He attributed the West's growing apprehension about the conflict to an inability to believe that Russia could actually fail

GERMAN COLONEL RALPH THILLE: THE UKRAINIAN OFFENSIVE WILL BE MADE UP OF MANY SMALLER ATTACKS - "PING WITH A NEEDLE"

Translation: Really don't expect too much from the Ukraine army but please keep sending the money.

Meanwhile (3) Zelensky praises cocaine, perhaps he should give some to his troops.

Funny how certain they are that other countries need their permission while they see nothing wrong with their terrorist US/NATO invasion and destruction of several countries in the Middle East, killing more than a Million people, and that they still occupy those countries.

GERMAN COLONEL RALPH THILLE: THE UKRAINIAN OFFENSIVE WILL BE MADE UP OF MANY SMALLER ATTACKS - "PING WITH A NEEDLE"..... ...The big counter offensive scaled down to "pocking the bear".......

Ukraine reminds the west that though the money is real nice what they really need is trained troops.

Former Ukrainian ambassador to Germany, and now ambassador to Brazil Oleksiy Melnyk accused German Chancellor Olaf Scholz of delaying the issue of Ukraine's entry into NATO. He also believes that it is precisely because of the German government that in Kyiv they are forced to put up with losses.

Former chief British general Sir Richard BARRONS: The Ukrainian army prepared about 60,000 soldiers for the counteroffensive, while the Russian army concentrated about 300,000 on the front, and another 200,000 in reserve. Those 60,000 are - even under the most favorable conditions - enough for strikes only on a 25-kilometer front.

Ukraine's counteroffensive: War reaches pivotal moment": Financial Times discusses whether Ukraine will get more money in the event of a successful counteroffensive.

“This is a defining moment for us. The level of Western support depends on our success. The more we achieve on the battlefield, the more we will get from partners,” the deputy head of Zelensky Sibig’s office is sure.

(it's all about the money)

And the Ukrainian officials themselves anonymously admit that Kyiv is unlikely to be able to return all the territories within the 1991 borders, and fear that they will simply be forced to enter into peace negotiations with Russia.
“Time is not on the side of Ukraine. When playing for a long time, Russia has an advantage,” said a senior European diplomat.

All this was obvious from the start but the west seem keen to keep this shitshow going by incremental escalations (so long as they're not the ones doing the dying).

Germany has prepared a package of military assistance to Ukraine worth about 2.7 billion euros. This is the largest support since the beginning of the special operation. Spiegel reports

:D Siren intermittently, every day and night, yes, there are explosions, and people die in my city.
But lately, our fighters have been pushing back the Russian troops and they are losing their positions and retreating or surrendering or dying.
Glory to Ukraine !!!! :Fire:
Thanks to all countries that help us with weapons and ammunition.
